Accepting defeat and moving on is life: Mayor Shah

KATHMANDU, Sept 18: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Mayor Balendra Shah has said that life is about accepting defeat and moving forward.

Addressing a suicide prevention and mitigation awareness program organized in Kathmandu on Sunday, Mayor Shah said that one can learn a lot from every defeat and said that accepting defeat and moving forward is life.

He said that one should experience both success and failure in life. “In life, we haven't yet learned how to lose. We're really busy on social media. We are scared of losing. We should not be as weak as we believe we are. You must develop the ability to lose anything. He said, "Losing teaches us a lot."
