Assistant Chief of the NRCS, Gorkha office, Subash Ghimire verbally abused Acharya and threatened him to furnish evidence to support the news that was about the misuse of an ambulance run by NRCS, Gorkha.
“Don´t you want to live in Gorkha? I will show you [consequences] by tonight,” Acharya quoted Ghimire as saying. “He could not physically assault me as FNJ Gorkha Chairman was accompanying me.”
FNJ Gorkha said it is unfortunate that journalists still run the risk of attacks over publication of news.
