KATHMANDU, Jan 6: The price of gold in the Nepali market dropped by Rs 500 per tola on Thursday. Now, the price of the yellow metal in the domestic market has been fixed at Rs 92,300 per tola.
Gold was traded at Rs 92,800 per tola on Wednesday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, Thursday's price of standard gold is Rs 91,800 per tola, which was Rs 92,300 per tola on Wednesday.
According to the federation, silver price has decreased by Rs 25 per tola to Rs 1,235 per tola. The federation has been fixing the price of gold and silver in Nepal in line with the transaction price in the international market.
Similarly, gold is trading at around $ 1,803 per ounce in international markets today.
