DOTI, Dec 20: Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim province Trilochan Bhatta has said that there will be no shortage of funds required for the health sector as saving people's lives is a key duty of the government.

Inaugurating the Provincial Biomedical at Rajpur of Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality-4 on Monday, Chief Minister Bhatta said that an adequate amount of budget has been allocated to the health sector so that people will get health care facilities at their doorsteps. "Our vision is to ensure that none of the citizens lose life due to lack of medical treatment. In this connection, we will not let the health sector face a shortage of budget," he said.

The Health Directorate under the Ministry of Social Development of the provincial government has set up the Biomedical at Rajpur. This is said to be the first biomedical facility of its kind to be established outside of the federal capital.

Thousands of people here are expected to benefit from the establishment of the health facility, said Gunaraj Awasthi, Director of the Sudurpaschim Health Directorate Dipayal Rajpur. The Directorate said the human resources required for operating the biomedical will be managed soon.
