Suman Sachdev wins CG Invitational Golf

KATHMANDU, Dec 23: Suman Sachdev won the CG Invitational Golf tournament held at CG Golf course at Chaudhary Udyog Gram, Nawalparasi. He left behind Joseph Nathan on the count back to win the tournament. Sachdev and Nathan both scored net 60 (four-under par) on par 64 Golf course. [break]



The first official tournament on the course was played in a stroke play format. The Handicap was decided on a double-Peoria System.



Suhrid Ghimire won the best gross award. Aditi Ghimire bagged best junior girls´ award. Suryansh Chaudhary won the boys´ award. Suman Sachdev, Joseph Nathan and Suhrid Ghimire also won closest to the pin, most birdies and longest drive awards respectively.



Binod Chaudhary and Nir Shah won special awards for their achievement in the tournament. Team of PK Shrestha and Suryansh Chaudhary won the scramble competition.



President and Managing Director of the Chaudhary Group Binod Chaudhary gave away the prizes to the winners.
