12 people detected with swine flu in Bara

KALAIYA (Bara), Sept 5: As many as 12 persons from Itahar of Narahi VDC, Bara, were found to have been infected with swine flu, according to the Disease Control Division, Ministry of Health and Population.

A team of physicians deployed by the Disease Control Division detected the infection on them while examining some 17 persons, mostly children and elderly, who were reported to have caught fever a fortnight ago.


According to Dr Shankar Gupta, Chief of the Division, Bara, another team will be mobilized in the locality to curb further infection. RSS
