DANG, Nov 7: As many as 12 people have died in a bus accident at Salyan, according to Gobind Thapa, Deputy Superintendent Of Police and chief of the District Police Office.
The bus (Ra 1 Kha 2552), which was headed for Tulsipur, Dang from Salyan, skidded off the road and fell some 100 meters at Kharkhola of Kapurkot Rural Municipality this morning, DSP Thapa said.
Among the 30 passengers on the bus, six died on the spot, while the others died in the course of treatment. Six of the passengers, who were critically injured in the accident, have been taken to Nepalgunj for treatment.
The cause of the accident is yet to be known.
