12 affected by dengue in Parsa

BIRGUNJ (Parsa), Aug 18: At least 12 people have been affected by dengue, an infectious disease caused by the bite of an infected mosquito in the district, said the District Public Health Office (DPHO).

BIRGUNJ (Parsa), Aug 18: At least 12 people have been affected by dengue, an infectious disease caused by the bite of an infected mosquito in the district, said the District Public Health Office (DPHO).

The patients were receiving treatment at different health facilities including Narayani Zonal Sub Regional Hospital, Bhawani Hospital and National Medical College, said DPHO officer Raj Kishor Prasad. Those affected by the disease are aged between 7 to 72. 


Meanwhile, the DPHO has launched a campaign to destroy mosquitos and their habitats in all wards of Birgunj Sub Metropolitan City, he said. RSS
