117 patients recover from COVID-19 today

KATHMANDU, June 16: As many as 117 patients of COVID-19 were discharged from various hospitals across the country after recovery on Tuesday, taking the national COVID -19 recovery tally to 1,158.

KATHMANDU, June 16: As many as 117 patients of COVID-19 were discharged from various hospitals across the country after recovery on Tuesday, taking the national COVID -19 recovery tally to 1,158.


Seven patients (one female and six males) from BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, 10 (all males) from the Isolation Center at Santalia, Banke, and seven (all males) from the Isolation Center at Shahpur, Banke, were discharged after recovery, according to spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), Dr Jageshwar Gautam.

Similarly, five patients from Susil Koirala Cancer Hospital, Banke, three from Narayani Hospital, Birgunj, 25 from COVID-19 Clinic Hospital, Dailekh, 24 from Isolation Center Integrated Building Hospital, Kalikot, and one from Tartang Isolation Center, Dailekh, were also discharged. They all are males.


Likewise, 26 patients from Bhim Hospital (five females and 21 males), seven patients (two females and five males) from Dullu Hospital, Dailekh, and two (both males) from Provincial Hospital, Surket, have recovered from the coronavirus infection.


Of 117 recovered today, eight are female and 109 are male.
