KATHMANDU, July 16: The standing committee meeting of CPN-UML has begun at Tulsi Lal Amatya Foundation building at Chasayal, Lalitpur.

The meeting is scheduled to discuss the ten-point proposal agreed earlier at the Task Force level to settle disputes between KP Oli–led faction and Madhav Kumar Nepal-led faction of the party and the party’s strategy for the future in the wake of Supreme Court’s verdict to reinstate the dissolved parliament and appoint Sher Bahadur Deuba as the Prime Minister of Nepal.

Addressing the meeting, Oli maintained that even if the coalition government has been formed under the SC’s order, the public mandate is still in the favor of the UML.
