10 killed in Sankhuwasabha bus accident

KATHMANDU, March 10: A passenger bus met with an accident in Sankhuwasabha on Thursday morning killing at least 10 people onboard. The ill-fated bus (Ba 4 Kha 735) that left for Sunsari's Dharan met with an accident at Saatghumti, Madi Municipality-6.

Details of human casualty have not been released as the number of passengers on the bus is yet to be ascertained.

Chief of the District Police Office, Sankhuwasabha DSP Lal Dhwaj Subedi informed Republica that the bus fell about 300 meters off the road.
