SALYAN, Oct 7: A man died and 19 others were injured in separate road accidents in the district on Friday.
According to District Police Office, Salyan, Ghanashyam Thapa died on the spot when a jeep, Lu 1 Ja 2934, met with an accident at 6 am today at Madankanda in Sharada Municipality-6 this morning. The jeep was heading for Takura to pick passengers from Shreenagar.
The jeep veered off the road and fell into a rivulet.

Similarly, 19 people were injured after a mini truck, Ra 1 Kha 1151, loaded with vegetables, heading for Kapurkot from Rim, turned turtle near Kapurkot.
The passengers were heading for Kapurkot to sell their vegetables.
The injured are undergoing treatment at Zonal Hospital in Tulsipur of Dang district, said Dang District police.
