The deceased has been identified as Sujan Nagarkoti, 18, a tenant of local Binod Tuladhar, who houses were caught in the fire.Nagarkoti's elder sister Sonu Nagarkoti has been injured in the incident and is undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital, Deputy Superintendent of Police Binod Ghimire said.
The fire that began at around 7:30 pm was brought under control after two and half hours. Though three houses including of Manandhar were confirmed reduced to ashes in the fire, details of damages are awaited. RSS
