Yarchagumba struggling to find market

DOLPA, Aug 1: Dolpa people find it difficult to get market to sell their Yarchagumba, this year. The Dolpa people have not yet sold Yarchagumba with the hope of getting more price in the season but it was in vain.



One yarcha cost Rs. 1000 to RS 1200 in the beginning of the season but as they waited now they are compelled to sell Rs. 300 to Rs 500 per piece. Now they are heading for Tibet for seeking market, said Yarcha collector Lokendra KC. [break]



The price of the Yarcha came down as tens of millions of rupees was invested in it and traders had to suffer losses Rs. 200,000 to Rs 300,000 was lost per kilogram, said one trader Chandraman Sarki.
