Putting-forth a five-point demand, the UDMF said it would not receive the bodies unless the government fulfills their demands.
At a press meet organized in Biratanagar today, the Madhesi parties have demanded to also file an attempted murder case against YAN secretary Basnet reasoning that Sadbhawana Party Central member Dilip Dhawade was brutally attacked at the behest of Basnet.
Three people had been killed in the police firing that took place after the UDMF cadres attacked the rally held by YAN in Rangeli.
Speaking at the press conference, Tarai-Madhes Democratic Party Morang Chairman Mohammad Kadir demanded that the killed be declared martyrs and due compensation be provided to the victims' families.
Meanwhile, Nepali Congress Morang Chapter has concluded that the Rangeli incident happened due to the arrogance of both the CPN-UML and UDMF.
