I survived and have a story to tell
The 25th April which we will always remember in our entire life bought a salient change in all the people’s life. Because I was able to get help from someone I have known for 6 years in my life I would love to post my story.
The day when the earth shook furiously, I was at swoyambhu Nath with my family. I have had the lunch and was staying at our shop. Suddenly the earth started shaking furiously. The scene was heartbreaking. There were tears in people’s eyes. Everyone was running here and there just to make themselves alive. The building collapsed suddenly where there were more than 60 people. The earthquake was of 7.9 magnitude ritcher. There were dead bodies everywhere. I almost died of fear but then there she came with a pretty smile. Her presence made me feel glad and I got a warm hug. Bec Ordish the founder of Mitrataa foundation who has been supporting me from the very start we met was there at my place. I was in need of her because she has been more than a mother to me.
My family was out of food and water. It was hard to live but I was lucky enough to survive. Some of my friends from Mitrataa foundation came to take me to their hostel. I got everything I needed. Not only me but there were people who got help from her. She became the medicine to heal the wounds of thousands of people around Nepal.
