Woman jumps to death from Pokhara bridge

POKHARA, April 7: A woman committed suicide by jumping off a bridge here in Kaski district on Sunday.



Ambika Subedi, 28, of Hanshpur-6, who jumped into local Seti River from Tulsighat Bridge this morning, died on the spot, Rabindra Paudel, Spokesperson at Kaski district police, informed.[break]



According to police, Subedi was mentally ill and had been taking regular medication.



Subedi’ family also confirmed that deceased Subedi had also tried several unsuccessful attempts for the suicide in the past.
