DHANKUTA, June 20: A 50-year-old woman died after falling from the veranda of her house in Dhankuta Municipality-10 of Uttar Paani.
According to the District Police Office, Pramila Rai fell from the second-floor veranda of her home at around 6 am on Thursday. She died on the spot.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Om Prakash Khanal said that Rai, who was reportedly suffering from high blood pressure, fell while stepping out of her room onto the veranda in the morning.
