ARGHAKHANCHI, June 15: A woman in Arghakhanchi has allegedly killed her husband by attacking him with a sickle following a domestic dispute.
According to the District Police Office, Arghakhanchi, 27-year-old Mekhamaya Kumal of Chhatradev Rural Municipality-3, Shikhra, struck her husband Ramu Kumal, 38, on the head with a sickle while he was asleep at around 1 AM on Saturday night.

Preliminary investigation shows that the couple had a minor argument earlier that evening. Police said Mekhamaya attacked her husband in a fit of rage while he was sleeping.
Mekhamaya was arrested from the scene on Sunday morning along with the weapon used in the murder. Further investigation is underway, police said.
