KATHMANDU, Jan 28: Teaching Hospital, Tribhuvan University (TUTH), has confirmed that Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, is suffering from cellulitis.
The hospital issued a press statement to update the public on his condition. Rabi is currently receiving intravenous antibiotics and has been admitted under the Orthopedics Department of TUTH. The hospital noted that his other health parameters remain normal.

TUTH also clarified that photos circulating on social media showing him in a different hospital are inaccurate.
Hospital spokesperson and Deputy Director Dr. Gopal Prasad Sedain informed the public that Rabi will need two to four more days of treatment before being discharged.
According to doctors, cellulitis is an infection that affects the deeper layers of the skin, causing redness, swelling, pain, and a feeling of warmth in the affected area.
