As many as 55 people lost their lives while scores went missing in the landslide triggered by incessant rain on Wednesday night. The landslide buried six VDCs of the district including Liwang, Santhakra, Khokling, Thinglabu and Tingtep. Nine members of the same family were killed by the disaster.
