KATHMANDU, June 3: Global travel technology firm Verteil Technologies has officially entered the Nepali market through its appointed General Sales Agent (GSA), Stream Travel Services, aiming to bring next-generation airline retailing and distribution solutions to local travel agencies, according to a press release issued by the company.
The launch was announced at an industry event held at The Soaltee Kathmandu on June 2, which brought together more than 50 leading travel agencies and industry stakeholders.
Under the partnership, Stream Travel Services will lead the local rollout of Verteil’s New Distribution Capability (NDC)-based platform, enabling travel agencies to access richer airline content, competitive fares, ancillary services and more streamlined booking options through direct connectivity with airline partners.

According to the press release, Verteil showcased its B2B platform during the event through a live demonstration, highlighting how NDC-driven technology can help agencies improve booking efficiency, expand content access and enhance customer experience.
“We are excited to expand into Nepal and support the growth of the local travel ecosystem,” Verteil Founder and CEO Jerrin Jos said in the statement, adding that the partnership would help equip Nepali travel agencies with modern airline distribution technology.
Similarly, Ashish K. Sengupta, Executive Director of Stream Travel Services, said the collaboration would give local travel sellers direct access to NDC content from leading international airlines while strengthening airline distribution capabilities in Nepal.
The company said the launch is expected to broaden access to airline content from international carriers and contribute to the growth of Nepal’s travel retail ecosystem.
