Upendra Yadav wants implementation of past agreements

BIRATNAGAR, April 7: Madhesi People's Rights Forum-Nepal (MPRF-N) Chairman Upendra Yadav has said the opposition parties were forced to take to the streets as efforts were made to come back from the past agreements instead of their implementation.

Talking to media persons her on Monday, Yadav said the ongoing agitation of the opposition parties would be withdrawn if the ruling parties come to a point to promulgate the constitution on consensus by implementing the past deals.


He also said that cadres of the opposition parties would be disciplined during the ongoing protests adding that the opposition parties would announce the second-phase programs by reviewing the current agitation.

Likewise, Yadav said the new constitution without federalism was unacceptable and warned that such much would create an untoward situation in the country.

He added that the new constitution should ensure justice to the discriminated community and region, arguing that situation would come for them to quit the CA if the ruling parties tried to bring the constitution forcefully without providing justice to such communities. RSS
