KATHMANDU, July 25: Following the decision of the party leadership not to renew the membership of former President Bidya Devi Bhandari, political polarization within the ruling CPN-UML has deepened. The establishment faction has begun holding daily strategy meetings at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.
During the Business Advisory Committee meeting, CPN-UML Chief Whip Mahesh Kumar Bartaula informed that the Prime Minister would not be present for the Q&A session due to health concerns.
