The party amended its statute in line with the new constitution. The party also decided to form a board as per the province in accordance with the amended statute. The board currently has 25 members from each development region.
An arrangement has been made in the amended statute whereby a no-confidence motion cannot be filed against the party's chief whip and whip from onwards.
Party Whip Bhanubhakta Dhakal informed about the effectiveness of the Committee members during a meeting of theUML Parliamentary Party held at the Legislature-Parliament Building at New Baneshwor on Wednesday.
