The accident took place when the Pokhara-bound bus (Ga 1 Kha 4093) collided with the motorbike (Ga 7 Pa 61) at Manpang-2.
The deceased are identified as motorbike rider Purna Bahadur Chhetri, 34, of Chhoprak-8, Gorkha and pillion rider Gyan Bahadur Magar, 29, of Kota-3, Tanahun, according to the District Police Office, Tanahun.
The critically injured duo died while undergoing treatment at Western Regional Hospital, Pokhara.
An investigation into the incident is on by bringing bus driver under control, police said.
