CHITWAN, Oct 21: Two people died in a road accident in Chitwan when a scooter lost control near the airport in Bharatpur Metropolitan City–10 last night.

The scooter, bearing registration number Ba Pra 06–003 Pa 0692, was carrying 25-year-old driver Sandeep Ghimire and 28-year-old pillion rider Kushal Aryal, both residents of Bharatpur Metropolitan City–21.
According to Govinda Puri, Chief of the District Police Office and Superintendent of Police in Chitwan, both victims sustained severe head injuries. They were rushed to Bharatpur Hospital in critical condition, where they later succumbed to their injuries.
