KATHMANDU, Aug 18: Two people died this morning after a motorcycle and a scooter collided at Special Chowk in Budhanilkantha Municipality–7, Kathmandu.
According to SP Apilraj Bohara, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Kathmandu, the incident involved a scooter (Bagmati Province 02–041 P 6819, Dio) and a Suzuki Gixxer motorcycle (Province 3–02–002 P 572).
Two killed in bus – ambulance collision
Among the deceased were Bhola Thapa, approximately 29, from Jandahgabis–4, Siraha and another unidentified man, roughly 35, wearing black pants and a white T-shirt. Both died during treatment.
Two others who were injured in the accident have been identified as 24-year-old Eric Pariyar from Arupokhari, Gorkha, currently residing in Budhanilkantha–8, Bhangal, and another unidentified man wearing a black track and blue T-shirt. They are undergoing treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.
Following the collision, both vehicles were seized by police, and authorities are trying to contact the relatives of the deceased and the injured.
