DHANKUTA, Dec 16: Two persons died on the spot when a three-wheeler and a tractor-trailer collided at Chhathar Jorpati Rural Municipality-2 in Dhankuta on Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as Sange Sherpa, 50, a resident of Chhathar Jorpati-2, and Dasarath Tamang, 25, a resident of Dhankuta Municipality-2. Likewise, two others were injured in the accident.

Those injured are Pradip Basnet, a resident of Laligurans Municipality, Tehrathum, and Rabin Ghimire, a resident of Chhatar Jorpati Rural Municipality-5, Dhankuta, according to Dhankuta Police.
The injured are receiving treatment at the District Hospital, Dhankuta.
According to police, the three-wheeler (Ko 2 Ha 6611) en route to Jorpati Bazzar from Hile collided with the trailer (Ko 1 Kha 6912) traveling from Dharan to Basantapur at Chhathar Jorpati Rural Municipality.
The driver of the trailer is under police control, said Kumar Dhakal, in-charge at Hile Police Station.
