The policemen, who were on patrol, seized the cubs that were kept inside a sack near by the Mainawati River in the locality.
The smuggler fled as soon as he saw the police hitting the sight, according to the Police Inspector Santosh Niraula at Area Police Office, Golbazaar.
It is learnt that the smuggler was taking the cubs to India. The seized cubs will be handed over to the safer shelter- the Koshi Wildlife Reserve, Sunsari, shared Police Inspector Niraula. RSS
