JHAPA, July 24: The police have arrested two people in possession of illegal drugs from Jhapa Rural Municipality, Jhapa.
A police team from the Area Police Office, Kumarkhod, seized the narcotic drug brown sugar while inspecting a scooter (Pra 1-01-015 Pa 7808 Na). Among those arrested are Mausam Limbu, 29, and Sharmila Rai, 36, of Kamal Rural Municipality-1, Jhapa.

The police said that they recovered 8.01 grams of the illegal drug wrapped in plastic and 5.53 grams without plastic.
According to Jhapa police, further investigation is on.
