KATHMANDU, Dec 1: Two individuals have been arrested on charges of looting the casino at the Hyatt Hotel in Boudha during the recent Gen-Z protests.
The arrested have been identified as Dawa Setti and Ranjit Khadgi, also known as Rana. A team from the Kathmandu District Police Range detained them, according to SSP Ramesh Thapa. He said that they were taken into custody after a complaint was filed against them. SSP Thapa said further investigation against the arrested persons is currently underway.

The looting incident took place on September 9 at Pride Casino located inside the Hyatt. According to an investigating officer, video footage shows the accused entering the casino brandishing khukuris.
