The Department of Transport Management (DTM) in coordination with Metropolitan Traffic Police Office (MTPO) has opened advance ticket bookings for Dashain, Tihar and Chhat festivals from as many as 12 ticket booking counters including Naya Bus Park, Kalanki, Satdobato, MTPO Spokesperson SP Basanta Kumar Panta told Republica over telephone.
Passengers can be seen queuing up at the ticket booking counters to book tickets for festivals from early morning today. [break]
A Civil Service Monitoring Team composed of staffers from DTM and MTPO has been deployed to ensure the smooth operation of the ticket bookings while the price list of the ticket fare for every long and short routes have been pasted outside the counters to ensure that the passengers will not be duped.
