JHAPA, Dec 29: A three-year-old baby boy drowned in a water ditch while playing in front of his house at Jhapa Rural Municipality-2 in Jhapa district on Sunday.
Dibansh Kandel, who was rushed to the Birta City Hospital after the incident, died while receiving treatment, according to the District Police Office, Jhapa.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Jhapa Khagendra Bahadur Khadka said that the critically hurt toddler died in the Birtamod-based Birta City Hospital during his treatment.
