SINDHUPALCHWOK, March 23: Three people were killed while 16 others sustained injuries when a bus met with an accident at Charghare in Melamchi Municipality in Sindhupalchowk district on Friday afternoon.
The deceased have been identified as 60-year-old Khumraj Adhikari, Chandra Bahadur Deuja, 44, of Shikharpur; and Tulasa Parajuli, 51, of Bansbari. Out of the sixteen people injured in the accident, the condition of four is said to be critical.

The bus with registration number Ba 2 Kha 4325 was en route to Melamchi from Kathmandu when it skidded off the road and fell some 40 meters down the hill.
The injured passengers were taken to Primary Health Center, Melamchi for treatment, informed Area Police Office, Melamchi.
