Three dead in separate road accidents

TULSIPUR, Oct 17: Two persons including the driver were killed on the spot after a passenger carrying jeep (Ra 1 Ja 462) met with an accident at Dhanbang VDC-4 of Dang district on Friday evening. Eleven others were injured in the incident.

According to the Rapti Zonal Police Office, Tulsipur, the deceased are driver Man Bahadur Gharti of Dhanbang VDC-7 and Pushpa Dangi of ward no. 8 of the same VDC. The injured are receiving treatment in the Rapti Zonal Hospital, Dang.


Meanwhile, a youth died after a tractor heading to Bakamalang from Rampur in Palpa district hit him at around 8:00 last night. Dil Bahadur Bishwakarma of Rakuwa VDC-1 of Nawalparasi district died on the spot at Rampur Municipality-3 after a tractor (Lu 3 Cha 1549) hit him, Assistant Police Inspector Hari Bahadur Rana said.
