Tear gas fired by police backfires  (Photo feature)

The police's tear gas backfired on them during the clash at Tinkune. The protesters grabbed the gas shells and threw them back at the police, further escalating the tension.

KATHMANDU, March 28: The police's tear gas backfired on them during the clash at Tinkune. The protesters grabbed the gas shells and threw them back at the police, further escalating the tension.


The security forces used tear gas to disperse the protesters, but some angry protesters seized the cylinders and hurled them back at the police.
