The meeting was postponed after three major parties said they will hold inter-party meetings over the 11-point demands of UDMF before sitting for decisive talks with the UDMF.Taskforce member and Senior Vice-chairman of Tarai Madhesh Democratic Party (TMDP) Hirdesh Tripathi said the taskforce meeting slated to be held 1 pm today has been postponed till tomorrow after the Nepali Cngress (NC) and ruling parties sought more time to hold intra-party discussions on issues.
After the postponement of the meeting, the UDMF has also called a meeting of the agitating parties.
A meeting of the UDMF is underway on their internal issues at the residence of TMDP Chairman Mahantha Thakur.
