Task force begins job, to work based on available data

KATHMANDU, Jan 12: The joint task force of CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Center) has begun its job from Friday. The task force has started preparing for the National Assembly election and to constitute province government.

KATHMANDU, Jan 12: The joint task force of CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Center) has begun its job from Friday. The task force has started preparing for the National Assembly election and to constitute province government.



Task force member Martika Prasad Yadav informed Republica online that the team is focused on the mandate that had been given by the unification coordination committee. “We have started working out as per the direction of the committee. We will move ahead with further available data and documents”, said Yadav.  He informed that the next meeting is scheduled for Saturday as all members of the team were not present on Friday.

UML leaders Shankhar Pokharel and Surendra Pandey and MC leader Barsha Man Pun were not present at the meeting.


The unification coordination committee constituted the task force to recommend on the issues including National Assembly election, formation of provincial government, the appointment of Chief Minister and Speakers among others.
