Tara aircraft skids off at Dolpa airport

KATHMANDU, Sept 21: A Tara Air aircraft had a minor hurdle while taking off at the Dolpa airport on Friday  morning.



The 9N-ABQ Twin Otter plane slipped off the runway at the airport  while taking off at 9:28 am, Vinaya Shakya, senior sales and marketing manager with Tara Air, informed.



The aircraft was about to fly to Nepalgunj and had six people--two crew members and four passengers--on board, Shakya said, adding all of them are safe.
