KATHMANDU, March 31: Surendra Bajagain has been appointed as the press coordinator for Prime Minister Balendra Shah (Balen). He will serve in a role equivalent to a personal branch officer, receiving related benefits and privileges.

Bajagain previously served as press coordinator when Balen was the Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City and was also part of Balen’s campaign team in Jhapa Constituency-5 during elections.
Prime Minister Balen has already appointed Kumar Byanjankar as chief advisor, Asim Shah as political advisor, Subash Sharma as chief personal secretary, Pradeep Pariyar as private secretary, Sudip Dhakal as head of administration and Bibek Mishra as information and technology coordinator.
