Sunsari, April 16: Three persons involved in a shooting crime in Dewangunj Rural Municipality of Sunsari were arrested.
The arrested are Shiva Kumar Mehata, 21, of Dewangunj rural municipality-7 and Rabin Kumar Yadav and Pintu Yadav of Dewangunj-1, Superintendent of Police (SP) at Sunsari Police, Suman Kumar Timsina stated.

Shiva Kumar Meheta was injured in the firing. He is receiving treatment in Biratnagar under police surveillance.
Search for others involved in the incident is underway, SP Timsina said. According to the police sources, three persons of a group were held for their involvement in the criminal activities and three of another involved are yet to be caught.
SP Timsina said preliminary investigation revealed that all of them are with criminal background.
