KATHMANDU, June 19: Kushal Neupane and Sanita Bhattraai secured gold medals in the men's and women's singles section respectively in the Sound Table Tennis Tournament on Friday.

Kushal beat Sagar Lama 11-9, 11-7 in the men's singles final played at Laboratory Higher Secondary School, Kirtipur. Phurnima Sherpa and Chhatra Bahadur Tamang jointly finished third.
In women's singles, Sanita recorded a 11-3, 11-5 win over Barma Budha Magar. Sarita Aryal and Hira Kumar Khatri came third.
