Man killed in wild boar attack

Severely injured in the attack on Sunday, Thing breathed his last on the way to hospital in Lalbandi.

SARLAHI, April 27: A person was killed in an attack from a wild boar at Lalbandi of Sarlahi.



The deceased has been identified as Prem Bahadur Thing (Dawa), 32, of Pidkhola of Lalbandi Municipality-15.

Severely injured in the attack on Sunday, Thing breathed his last on the way to hospital in Lalbandi, according to the District Police Office, Sarlahi's spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police, Saroj Rai. 


The body has been taken to the Provincial Hospital Malangawa for pos-mortem examinations. 


Thing was attacked by the animal that had entered his maize field. He had been staying at the farm since the past few days to protect the crops from animals.
