For family

“We had an arranged marriage, and my wife and I gradually learned to love each other. As I am away from home, I call her once every day because I miss her. We have a son and a daughter,” says Lal Mohan Mohhammed, 40, from Raxual, India, and currently residing at Sundhara, Kathmandu. He repairs tailoring machines for a living. “I have been living in Kathmandu for the last 24 years. I was 16 when I came here. Though I used to get a lot of customers during my early years, their number has declined these days with the establishment of several repair shops,” adds Mohhammed.
