KATHMANDU, Jan 21: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has stated that light snowfall is likely to occur in some parts of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces today. The country is under the influence of westerly winds. In addition, the western low-pressure system is also partially affecting Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province.
The weather is partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and mainly clear in the remaining parts. In addition, mist and fog can be seen in many areas of the Terai.

There is also a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province.
