KATHMANDU, June 28: The Office of Controller of Examinations (OCE) is publishing the results of technical group of the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) by 4 pm on Sunday.
The OCE is making the results public under grading system for the first time.

Exam controller Bishnu Bahadur Dware said the grading will be done on the basis of marks received by the students. Students receiving 90 to 100 marks will get ‘A+’, 80 to 89 will get ‘A’, 60 to 79 will get ‘B’, 40 to 59 will get ‘C’ and 25 to 39 will get ‘D’. While those receiving less than 25 will get ‘E’ under the new system.
According to OCE, 3,288 students appeared in technical category this year. Some 456 in eastern region, 755 in central, 844 in western, 594 in mid-western and 548 in far-western appeared in exams. Among them, 2,037 are boys and 1,251 are girls.
Exam controller Dware said students receiving ‘D’ and ‘E’ grade can sit for exams again.
