People from several villages are flocking to the district headquarters after receiving information that the food is being distributed there. Some 10,000 people from 11 VDCs of the district are currently there to buy food, according to Acting Chief district Officer Jagat Kunwar.

There was a shortage of beaten rice and noodles in the market to meet the demand of large crowds of people.
