Shrestha, who won the pro trophy of the eighth event on Friday, accumulated 37 points, while Rai scored 38, Sherpa bagged 31 and Bhujel came up with 40 points for a total of 146 points.[break]
The team of pro Sanjay Lama and amateurs Narayan Tamang, Purna Limbu and Birendra Limbu came second by just one point in the event played under stable ford format. Lama scored 37 points, while Tamang made 38, Purna Limbu scored 34 and Birendra Limbu accumulated 36 points for a total of 145 points.
The team of pro Rabi Khadka, Raj Kumar Rai, Gajendra Limbu and MB Limbu finished third with the total of 141 points.
In individual section, Bhujel won the trophy of men´s section with 40 points, while Els Sapndonk bagged the trophy women´s section with 32 points. Local golfer Jhuna Rai won the longest drive award on the 18th hole, while Gajendra Limbu bagged the closest to the pin award on Hole No 17.
The best eight pro and 24 amateur cards were drawn to select the winners. Nepal Professional Golfers Association President Rabindra Man Shrestha and regional representative of Surya Nepal Pvt Ltd Lal Bahadur Karki handed over the prizes to the winners.
Altogether 53 golfers, including 16 pros and 37 amateurs, took part in the Pro-Am event.
