KATHMANDU, Jan 10: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has appointed the party's Central Working Committee member Bishwa Prakash Sharma as the party's official spokesperson.

According to a press statement issued by NC on Tuesday, Deuba appointed Sharma as the spokesperson in accordance with Article 24 (3) of the party's statute. The post of spokesperson in NC was lying vacant since the party's 13th general convention held in March, 2016
